I came across the Cheat Your Way Thin program. It promises fast weight loss, but best of all, you still get to eat the things that you love. What could be better? So, I decided to try it out.
One of my biggest dieting problems, as I’m sure it is for many people, is saying “no” to the food I love. Resisting temptation is a daily battle, and all too often I’ve found myself giving in and treating myself, then giving up on the diet altogether. I really wanted to find something that actually worked, but without having to starve myself at the same time.
Naturally, at first I was skeptical of the Cheat Your Way Thin idea. A diet where you can still eat burgers, fries and ice cream? It goes against everything I’ve ever heard about dieting. But that’s why it’s so great. It isn’t conventional, and you don’t have to starve yourself to get great results. The more I read about it, the more it made sense. If you deny yourself the foods you love, the temptation becomes too much and you give in, as I’ve often discovered. If you allow yourself to “cheat”, you stay motivated because you can still eat what you’re craving.
The science bit makes sense too. On conventional, calorie-restriction diets, you’re starving your body of essential calories and pretty soon it goes into starvation mode, reducing your metabolism and keeping hold of the fat. With the Cheat Your Way Thin method, your body still gets the calories it needs but is “cheated” into increasing your metabolism and burning more fat.

Of course, you can’t eat the bad stuff all the time. The Cheat Your Way Thin is in conjunction with a strict calorie-controlled and exercise-filled diet, but you’re allowed strategic “cheat” days as well which are specially incorporated into the plan. It works like this: over the week, 2 days are low carb, 2 days are low GI, 2 days are higher GI and one day you can eat entirely what you want. All days are created in such a way that the calorie reduction actually works and you see the results, and the added cheat days speed up your metabolism. The plan is well-structured and means that you’re getting what the body needs in a way that works best for it, but don’t have to deny yourself.
The full program includes the manual that describes the Cheat Your Way Thin method in detail, easy meal suggestions for each day, a progress chart and all the hints and tips you need to really succeed. It teaches you how to use the right foods to promote your weight loss, like showing you how eating the “right” carbs can actually help boost your results. Cheat Your Way Thin shows you how to structure your meals better to increase your metabolism by as much as 20%, meaning you can eat more and yet still burn fat. It can even show you how to incorporate exercise into your routine to give the bests results possible, and how by having your sessions at the right time you can double your weight loss.
And best of all, the Cheat Your Way Thin diet actually works! I was eating full portions, not just rabbit food, I still allowed myself the things that I craved, and even got to completely pig out once a week. And I actually lost weight whilst doing it! It was so easy it didn’t even feel like I was dieting, sometimes I even felt guilty! Everything was spelt out easily, and satisfying my cravings made a world of difference and meant it was the first “diet” I was successful with.
This Cheat Your Way Thin plan is really easy to follow, and tells you exactly what you need to do to plan your days and get the best out of your food. It’s great to be able to check your progress as well, and is a fantastic motivator. I highly recommend the Cheat Your Way Thin program especially if you are like me and find it hard to stay off some of those naughty ‘treats’ that leave you craving to the point that you just end up giving up the diet altogether otherwise. You definitely lose weight anyway with this unique program and get to still enjoy life. It really is the best of both worlds!
