Like many others, I knew that exercise and a balanced diet devoid of all the unhealthy stuff are the best ways to stay fit, but I was so hard pressed for time or didn’t have the inclination to do things the ‘hard way’- until I came across Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle thanks to my sister’s recommendation (bless her).

Over time, I’ve realized that the adage ‘no pain, no gain’ really does apply to weight loss if you want to stay slim in the long run. Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle is the ideal e-book for those who want to get fit the ‘right way’, but at the same time, it doesn’t impose the notion of rigorous workouts and excessive dieting on people looking to achieve well-being.

If this sounds like a contradiction, read on:

Venuto’s credentials as a very accomplished fitness expert made me even more inclined to give Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle a look- and I’m glad I went the whole nine yards!

About Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle

The main focus of Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle is fat burning and building and maintaining lean, toned muscles. This is pretty obvious considering Venuto is a bodybuilder, but the great thing is that this e-book, though very detailed at 300 plus pages, is something that can be put into practice by everyone.

Again, it needs to be stated here that Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle is not a quick fix- far from it. It’s been written with a purpose- to completely rework the way people think about food and exercise and help them lead healthier lives by incorporating long-term lifestyle changes.

The e-book endorses the consumption of healthy fats, complex carbohydrates, lean protein, and lots of vegetables. This is a far cry from programs that advocate diets based on just one or two food groups, like a high protein or low carb diet- which I know all too well are quick fix solutions. However, what’s interesting is that Venuto addresses the need and importance of eating according to your body type and requirements.

In short, Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle has something for everyone. There are numerous diets for one and all depending on their individual goals, body type, metabolism, and other factors. The diet I followed was personalized according to my needs, which was a very welcome feature.

The e-book advocates weight training for building lean muscle and consequently burning fat even while you are resting. Imagine my delight when I learned that I could really burn fat even while I was asleep! Interestingly, Venuto advises people to eat more while building muscle, because doing just the opposite makes the body go into ‘starvation mode’ and store the calories as fat.

Tom gives equal emphasis to the importance of motivation when it comes to attaining good health. He shares some of his own mental conditioning techniques that people can use to get themselves back on track. I loved this bit because I tend to get pretty impatient when I don’t see ‘overnight’ results.

To summarize, Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle is a bestselling e-book for a good reason, and that’s because it doesn’t lead people down the wrong path toward good health. It surely makes for a great addition in my library and I highly recommend it.
